From the Desk of Mr. Main 

  Thank you for your continued involvement in everything going on here at HVCS.  I am excited about God’s plan for the future of this school and feel very blessed to be a part of it.  My hope and prayer is that God will continue to use this place for his glory, and that you and I will continue to be a part of it.  There are exciting things approaching quickly.  One thing I would like to remind everyone about is that we will be a Preschool-8th grade school for the 2010-2011 school year.  This has been a vision of mine and something that I hope you will be as excited about as I am. 

Enrollment is going on now for all students Preschool-8th grade.  Thank you to all 53 of you who took advantage of our priority reenrollment.  Those of you that have not yet reenrolled, please come in and fill out a registration packet and tell your friends and neighbors about the exciting opportunities going on here at HVCS!

• Elementary Priority Registration for our current elementary students wishing to enroll for the 2010-11 school year will begin on February 2nd. This is the opportunity for you to take advantage of early registration with discounted fees, and to secure a spot for your child.  Act now! Open enrollment for new elementary students will begin in March.
• Preschool Priority Registration for our current preschool students wishing to enroll for the 2010-11 school year will begin in March. Act quickly to secure a spot for your child. Open enrollment for new preschool students will begin in April.

* SWEATSHIRTS & JACKETS

Just a reminder...Please check the name on your child’s jackets and sweatshirts to make sure they don’t belong to another child. If they do, please bring them back to the lost and found.  Also, please make sure that all of your child’s belongings are labeled with his/her name!

* Too many children are walking by themselves through the parking lot and across school traffic in the mornings. We cannot say it enough: PLEASE WALK YOUR CHILDREN ALL THE WAY TO THE GATE IN THE MORNINGS.
